When was the last time you check your Instagram account? If you’re like me not really using the service as part of my daily routine, today is the best time to check your account security. If you have not activated the Two-Factor Authentication, this is also the time and highly recommended to use it for added security protection to your account.
Use Two-Factor Authentication as much as possible, make it as a habit when you manage your online accounts e.g. banks, taxes, file sharing, etc. or creating a new account. It is not a bullet proof security solution but it will definitely give them (malicious users) a hard time breaking to your account. They will simply go to their next victims.
Many Instagram users posted their frustration using Twitter, some of messages are found here. I captured some of them to share with you.

Security reminder: Login to your account, change your password frequently at least once every 90 days, check your information and activate Two-Factor Authentication (multi-factor) for added security protection.
Security is not a product, it is a continuous process.
