=== Updated February 23, 2015 ===
Last February 13, 2015 we announced moving our website to WordPress hosting to address some technical issues listed below.
- Security against malicious users.
- Faster loading of website.
- Better spam protection.
- Lower cost to maintain.
- Easy content management system.
Ten days after, see our website improvements.
See the live monitoring chart above. The fastest website loading average dropped to .386 seconds from above 2 seconds. With this rate, I’m assuming the average response time will go down under .600 seconds from 1.224 seconds. The slowest average response time at 2.355 seconds will also improve in coming days. We will report back after 20 days. This improvement address our concern in Item 2, consider it solved.
The Item 1 and 3 are resolved when we moved to WordPress hosting. We’re able to keep our website sanitize and clean from bot spams. While improving better communication and sharing using social media connections.
Item 4. Content Management System maintenance cost is affordable using WordPress plan, we can easily move up to Pro account (Premium to Business) to provide unlimited space and eCommerce. We can scale if needed.
Item 5. I’ve used to host our own website using WordPress open source, and moved to WordPress hosting. The portal management is the same, though we have limitation of plugins access but that’s not an issue at the moment.
Therefore, I made the right decision.
Next SEO for search engine optimization. As of this morning, when you search “que” or “QUE” in Google search, I don’t see que.com in the first page results. But when I checked it using BING and YAHOO search engine, que.com shows up in the first page results.
My goal is to bring “que” or “QUE” in Google search first page result within a year or sooner.
